Hi, I'm Tobias Eichert, thanks for stopping by! I'm a web developer from Mannheim, Germany. This website is my online outpost for all things web technologies, interface design, accessibility, extraordinary games, hidden gems found on the internet and stuff which isn't necessarily relevant.

Work

Since September 2009, I've been developing web applications at [di] digitale informationssysteme gmbh, following 20 months of user interface design at SAP. I also did some freelance work in the past, mostly in the area of web design, development and template creation for various content management systems. Education

I hold a B.A. in Translation Studies with a focus on Information Technologies from the University of Heidelberg. I was also enrolled in various computer science programs, but finally decided to fight at the forefront of applications, which apparently are user interfaces, clean markup and careful localization. :-)

Personal

I like listening to and making music, taking photographs, using Apple products (since I fell in love with the old iBook G3 back in 2003), playing video games (from good old Monkey Island to Syberia to something special like Darwinia), trying to jog regularly and hanging out with friends. I also practice Zazen on a nearly daily basis.
